Global Monitoring
MERIS / SicilySODERN space technologies are being deployed to contribute to a safe future for the planet.
Within the space-based Earth Observation field, SODERN participates in various projects related to GLOBAL MONITORING of the EARTH. This includes the production of the cameras for the VEGETATION instrument (on SPOT4 & 5), for the POLDER instrument (on ADEOS1, ADEOS 2 and PARASOL) and the MERIS instrument imaging spectrometer (on ENVISAT).
SODERN is now involved in the development of the OLCI instrument for the SENTINEL 3 ESA satellite.
