Cerco® UV Lenses
Cerco® UV objectives are designed for intensified video cameras. They offer the best efficiency to capture UV images with low UV light or in high speed observation.
- High aperture, F stop number up to F/1.8
- Optical elements made of synthetic fused silica and UV grade calcium fluoride
- Multi-dielectric anti-reflective coatings for the spectral range 250 to 400 nm range (see curve)
By comparison with a standard F/4.5 UV lens, the illumination on the sensitive area of an imager is 3 times higher (100 F/2.8 lens) to 6 times higher (45 F/1.8 lens).
Their optical resolution corresponds to the most performing image intensifiers, they are chromatically corrected over a spectral range of 200 nm to 800 nm ; that allows to work in large Ultra-Violet wavelenghts ranges, and in the visible to near infrared without refocusing.
Applications: combustion research, bio-medics, forensic, molecular contamination, micro-lithography, lightning-detection, vegetation survey and de-camouflage.
